Parents
Parent and Family engagement in Head Start/Early Head Start
You are the first and most important teacher of your children.
The Head Start/Early Head Start Programs highly encourage parent’s participation and involvement in our program because we believe you are the first and most important teacher of your children.
Parent and Family engagement in Head Start/Early Head Start Program is about building relationships and supporting family well-being. Our goal is to partner and collaborate with you to support your family to obtain the necessary tools to strengthen family relationships, family safety, health, economic stability to be self-sufficient, and be your child’s lifelong educators.
Goal Development
We work with each family in creating a family goal to meet your family’s individual needs and interests by establishing a Family Partnership Agreement (FPA). It is never too late to develop a plan to work on your own goals and dreams, either for yourself or for your family.
Ready Rosie is a research base parent curriculum that builds parents knowledge. New St Paul has used this program for the past 4 years. The program uses video and mobile technology
