Health, Safety & Nutrition

The goal of Child Health and Developmental Services is that each child receives ongoing, continuous healthcare. The Health Services area is responsible for ensuring children enrolled in Early Head Start and Head Start are up to date on a schedule of well childcare.

New St. Paul is committed to providing high-quality services for children and encourages and welcomes enrollment of children with differing abilities. Supports inclusion which allows children to participate in a full array of activities in a natural setting with an integrated approach.

Mental Health Services

Early Head/Head Start programs are required to provide a broad spectrum of mental health services. The services include mental health promotion, prevention, early identification of mental health concerns, and referral for treatment for children and families.
